Reunion events during Commencement weekend each year honor 50 and 60 year grads
Saturday: The festivities honoring the 50 and 60 year classes will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a reception to renew old friendships followed by banquet in the McCormick Seminary’s Inder Lobby (adjacent to LSTC). A time for sharing of experiences during the past 50 years follows the banquet.
Sunday: Worship service at 10 a.m. in the Augustana Chapel. At noon, a buffet luncheon will be served in McCormick’s Inder Lobby.
Commencement will be in the afternoon at St. Thomas Church. The 50 and 60 year reunion classes process with the seminary and are introduced and honored for lives of service and ministry. A reception follows at LSTC.
Reunions at other times throughout the year
LSTC’s leadership conference happens during reading week each fall. Added in 2016 is a banquet on Tuesday evening honoring returning graduates of all classes, but especially classes celebrating 5 year marks as well as “GOLD” Graduates Of the Last Decade. Did you graduate 10, 20, 25 or 40 years ago? Join us for reunification and community celebration!
A second option is to plan your own LSTC reunion on site or off. Contact Jennifer if you’re interested in a gathering.
