The 3rd Annual Queer Intersectionality and Public Church Symposium

Mark your calendar for the Queer Intersectionality and Public Church Symposium, themed “Extraordinary Histories.” This year’s gathering celebrates the transformative power of queer histories—especially as they face ongoing erasure—and lifts up the stories of those extraordinarily ordained prior to the 2009 Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Churchwide vote to ordain partnered LGBTQ+ folx.

The symposium will take place at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, and will be available to attend both in-person and online.
