Intercultural Moments at LSTC: Movie Screening
Register to join us for the first of Intercultural Moments at LSTC series with a special screening of Origins, inspired by Isabel Wilkerson’s groundbreaking book Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents. Wilkerson, the first woman of African American heritage to win the Pulitzer Prize in journalism, powerfully examines the unspoken caste system that has shaped America.
Following the film, Dr. Vinod Wesley and PhD candidate Immanuel Karunakaran will lead an integrative presentation and discussion, offering space for reflection and conversation around the themes of caste, race, and justice.
Enjoy an evening of thought-provoking dialogue, community, and connection—complete with popcorn, snacks, and drinks!
