2024 Commencement and Baccalaureate Ceremonies

Commencement exercises for the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago’s (LSTC’s) class of 2024 will be held Sunday, May 19 at 2:30 p.m.  at St. Paul & the Redeemer located at 4945 S. Dorchester Ave in Chicago.

A reception will follow starting at 4:00 p.m.

On Saturday, May 18, at 4 p.m., the Baccalaureate service will be held at the Augustana Lutheran Church at 5500 S. Woodlawn in Chicago. We are delighted to share that  LSTC Instructor in Homiletics and Instructor in Ministerial Leadership Dr. Kim Beckmann will be preaching.

We are also pleased to announce this year’s 2024 commencement speaker will be Dr. Barbara Rossing, Professor of New Testament who will be retiring later this year.
