Black History Month Closing Worship Service

Join us on for our Black History Month Closing worship service on Wednesday, Feb. 28th at 11:30 a.m. Social Justice Advocate, Womanist Theologian, and civil rights leader the Rev. Traci Blackmon will preach on “Wellness in the Black Community.” Rev. Traci Blackmon is the Associate General Minister of Justice & Local Church Ministries for the United Church of Christ. A civil rights activist and beloved leader within the Black community, Rev. Blackmon serves on the editorial board of the St. Louis American, the single largest weekly newspaper in Missouri, and as a trustee on the boards of The Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference, Americans United for Separation of Church & State, and the World Parliament of Religions. As we celebrate Black History Month, we are honored to have Rev. Blackmon share the preached word with the LSTC community.
