Whether you are just starting your TEEM application or preparing for ordination, this page will walk you through each step of your journey with us. Our team is here to support you every step of the way — from application to alumni.
Getting Started: Apply to TEEM
Your TEEM journey begins with your submitted TEEM application and required documents which include:
Your Entrance Decision Letter from your synod
Your Bishop Support Letter
Your ELCA Acceptance Letter
Seminary transcripts (if applicable)
On your application, you’ll answer whether you have taken seminary courses before and upload relevant transcripts. This information helps us tailor your experience.
Once submitted, your application and documents will be reviewed.
No prior seminary coursework? You’ll be admitted immediately.
Prior coursework? Transcripts will be reviewed before granting admission.
Required documents also include your financial aid request form.
Once an admissions decision has been made, a financial evaluation will occur.
Financial Aid and Paying for TEEM Resources
We know that affordability is an important consideration, and LSTC is here to help. Our Financial Aid and Student Accounts teams are here to support you in making TEEM as affordable and accessible as possible.
Early conversations are the best conversations! Please reach out at your earliest convenience to the financial aid office at financialaid@lstc.edu.
