Join us for our 165th commencement ceremony for the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago’s (LSTC’s) class of 2025. The ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 18 at 2:30 p.m.  at St. Paul & the Redeemer Episcopal Church (4945 S. Dorchester Ave, Chicago, IL 60615).

We are also pleased to announce this year’s 2025 commencement speaker will be Bishop Yehiel Curry of Metropolitan Chicago Synod.

There will be limited spaces available in the parking lot (entrance on 50th street) and street parking based on availability. Priority seating in the chapel has been reserved for ticketed guests of graduating students. If space allows, non-ticketed members of our community will be seated in the chapel as well. Additional seating will be available in a designated overflow viewing room. Live streaming of the commencement service will be made available for those unable to attend in person. The link will be available a week prior to the ceremony.
