LSTC’s Queer Intersectionality and Public Church Symposium presents Oral History for Social Change, a special pre‑seminar webinar designed to introduce students, alumni, and ministry leaders to the transformative power of queer oral history.
As part of LSTC’s ongoing Queer Oral History Project, this webinar will explore why oral history is essential for documenting lived experiences, shaping community memory, and strengthening justice‑oriented ministry. Participants will gain foundational tools for practicing oral history in their own ministry contexts.
This is the first session in a two‑part webinar series that will equip attendees to meaningfully engage in oral history work. This series will also form the basis of the 2026 Queer Symposium at LSTC.
