2024 Commencement and Baccalaureate Ceremonies

Commencement exercises for the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago’s (LSTC’s) class of 2024 will be held Sunday, May 19 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Paul & the Redeemer located at 4945 S. Dorchester Ave in Chicago. Live streaming of the commencement service will be made available for those unable to attend in person. A reception will follow starting at 4:00 p.m.
On Saturday, May 18, at 4 p.m., the Baccalaureate service will be held at the Augustana Lutheran Church at 5500 S. Woodlawn in Chicago.
We are also pleased to announce this year’s 2024 commencement speaker will be Dr. Barbara Rossing, Professor of New Testament who will be retiring later this year.
Commencement is not a ticketed event for guests. All guests who desire to attend are welcome to join us for this celebratory occasion. LSTC 2024 graduates can stay current on the latest commencement news by visiting the Graduates page on MyLSTC.
