October 12 at 2 p.m., Central time, four Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago (LSTC) alumni panelists share their diverse experience working on eco-theology and equity via Zoom and streaming live on LSTC’s YouTube channel. Register here for the Zoom link.
The alumni panelists are:
Patricia Cuyatti, (2010, PhD), former Lutheran World Federation regional secretary for Latin America, the Caribbean, and North America, and pastor from the Lutheran Church of Peru
Yehiel Curry (2013, MDiv), bishop of the Metropolitan Chicago Synod, ELCA
David Carlson (2000, ThM), co-chair of the Northeastern Minnesota Synod’s EcoFaith Network, and pastor of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Duluth, Minn.
Elonda Clay (2007, ThM), director of the library at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio and scholar of science and religion, with interests in ecology, human health, and race
Marvin Wickware Jr., assistant professor of church and society and ethics, will be the moderator. Barbara Rossing, professor of New Testament will be the respondent to the panel discussion.
