LSTC’s Seminary Sampler is the perfect way for prospective students to get a taste of seminary life. Samplers, offered in the fall and spring, help you to become familiar with our campus, our community and our academic programs.
During Seminary Sampler you will meet faculty, staff and students who can help you discern whether LSTC is right for you. Questions about our academic program, housing and financial aid will be answered and you’ll be able to join us for worship and sit in on a class.
Most importantly, you’ll hear from others what it’s like to be part of the vibrant, diverse and caring community of LSTC—what it’s like to study, and possibly live, at the leading urban Lutheran seminary.
LSTC is proud to equip students for visionary ministry in this country and globally. We hope you’ll be one of them!

- discover how to thrive as a part-time/commuter student
- explore your call and learn about our diverse academic programs
- sit in on a Fall 2022 class during the week
- share a meal with faculty, staff and students
- learn about the LSTC admissions process, including information about student services and financial aid
Dinner is provided. Spouses and partners are invited to attend. Childcare available.
