LSTC Faculty Collaborates with Noodle to Develop New Learning Resources

On August 28, the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago (LSTC) convened a pivotal faculty-focused session with Noodle, an educational services company, to advance Project Starling’s mission of expanding high-quality theological education. The session was designed to lay the groundwork for the creation of innovative learning resources that will enhance LSTC’s educational offerings.

The first learning resources will be developed by Dr. Marvin E. Wickware Jr., Associate Professor of Church and Society and Ethics, Dr. Peter Vethanayagamony, Professor of Modern Church History, and auxiliary faculty member Craig Mueller, who teaches Spiritual Formation.

The session set a strategic framework for the faculty’s initial creation of their respective learning resources. Dr. Wickware, with his expertise in ethics and society, Dr. Vethanayagamony’s rich knowledge of modern church history, and Professor Mueller’s focus on spiritual formation, began outlining the content that will shape future courses. This collaborative work aligns with LSTC’s commitment to developing relevant, accessible, and transformative theological education.

The partnership with Noodle marks an exciting step in the growth of Project Starling, supporting LSTC’s dedication to academic innovation and ensuring that learners everywhere have access to exceptional theological resources.
