Register to join us for another installment of the “Preaching Jesus with Interfaith Sensitivity”  event series. This event will be held at LSTC, 5416 S. Cornell Ave, in Classroom B on the 4th Floor.  This upcoming webinar includes beloved passages from the Prophet Isaiah which are again featured in this year’s lectionary texts for Advent. Come explore how to preach these beautiful words of consolation and promise in light of Christ’s coming in ways that also affirm God’s ongoing covenant with the Jewish people. Case studies from Isaiah illustrate how Christians and Jews interpret our common scriptures in distinctive ways, acknowledging one God active in ancient Israel, the life of Jesus, and contemporary Jewish and Christian communities.

This webinar is available to attend both in person and online. Parking is available in the parking garage at $10/vehicle. Free parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood. A light lunch will be provided for the in-person attendees.
