This year, the first and second Seders of the Passover observance will be celebrated by our Jewish neighbors on Wednesday of Holy Week and on Maundy Thursday. As Christians entering the Triduum—the three days of Jesus’ Passion and Resurrection—how do we preach the gospel with theological depth and pastoral sensitivity amid the concurrent observance underway among Jews and within a cultural context of heightened antisemitism? This timely conversation invites preachers, students, and faith leaders to reflect on how the calendar concurrence provides a distinct opportunity to proclaim God’s work in Christ within the broader story of God’s enduring faithfulness—promises of liberation, guidance, and ultimate fulfillment traced in both Jewish and Christian memory from biblical times to today.
