What is your favorite memory of your time at LSTC?

While my time at LSTC has been filled with meaningful moments, organizing the LSTC  Olympics shortly after arriving stands out as a highlight. It was a joy to see the fellowship  and community spirit that the event fostered among students and faculty. Beyond that, the  rhythm of vibrant chapel services and the intellectual energy of our classroom discussions  have left a lasting impression on me, grounding my academic work in a deep sense of  belonging.

What was the most meaningful class you took?

I was fortunate to take several courses that bridged ancient texts with contemporary  crises, profoundly shaping my theological outlook. Trauma and the Bible with Dr. Alldredge  provided a transformative lens for biblical interpretation, while Dr. Marvin Wickware’s  Public Church I offered a vital framework for our collective responsibility toward humanity.  Additionally, Dr. Peter Vethanayagamony’s History of Theology I & II provided a rigorous  foundational knowledge that I deeply value. Expanding my perspective further, the  Introduction to Judaism course with Prof. Dine at CTU was essential for understanding  faith within a global, pluralistic context.

How did you feel supported during your seminary journey? Were you the recipient of any major scholarships? What communities or people uplifted you during your studies?

My journey was made possible by a robust network of academic, financial, and communal  support. I am particularly grateful for the significant scholarships provided by LSTC, which  were instrumental in my success. This foundation of support allowed me to focus entirely  on my development as a scholar and a leader.

What are your post-graduation plans?

While I am celebrating this milestone, my connection to the LSTC community is only  deepening. I am excited to transition into the ThM program here, with the goal of pursuing a  PhD. I look forward to advancing my research and continuing to contribute to the academic  and communal life of this institution.

How did LSTC shape you as a future leader of the public church?

LSTC has fundamentally broadened my understanding of leadership within a pluralistic  society. My experiences beyond the classroom—serving as a representative for the Master  Student Association on the Board of Directors and working with the International Student  Association—were particularly formative. These roles provided invaluable experience in governance and advocacy, teaching me how to amplify diverse voices and navigate  institutional complexities. I feel well-prepared to serve as a collaborative, vision-driven  leader dedicated to the public church.
