Partnership Model
Successful websites are collaborative projects.
While Marketing & Communications provides strategic guidance, user experience expertise, design, and implementation, the requesting office serves as the subject matter expert and content owner.
Departments requesting a new website or major website revision are responsible for:
- Defining the site’s purpose and goals
- Providing subject matter expertise
- Drafting or supplying subject-matter content
- Identifying key audiences and information needs
- Reviewing and approving content prior to publication
- Maintaining the accuracy of program-specific information over time
How to Request a Website Project
Before beginning a project, please review this page:

Following that review please contact Marketing & Communications to work with the requesting office to determine project scope, responsibilities, and implementation timelines.
To begin the process, email marcomm@lstc.edu to schedule an initial consultation.
Project Ownership
Marketing & Communications serves as the strategic and technical partner for institutional web projects.
The requesting department retains ownership of its content and is responsible for ensuring information remains accurate, current, and aligned with departmental priorities. Marketing & Communications serves as a strategic partner in organizing, presenting, and maintaining that content within LSTC’s digital environment.
